“Not Yet!”: Andy Lau On Rumours That His Wife, 58, Is Expecting Second Child
Does that mean they are trying to get pregnant?
Recently, rumours are rife that Hong Kong Heavenly King Andy Lau, 62, and wife Carol Chu, 58, are expecting their second child.
The couple tied the knot in 2008 and have a daughter, Hanna, who just turned 12 yesterday (May 9).
According to rumours, Andy has always wanted to have a son and Carol finally conceived again via in-vitro fertilisation (IVF).
Andy’s fans were super thrilled by the news and sent their blessings for the couple.
"Too incredible" and "Miracle of life" were just some of the comments.
When asked about the pregnancy rumours, Andy expressed his gratitude and told the media that he would explain more on his official website later.
On May 8, he released a statement on the website of his fan club Andy World Club, saying: "I have always said 'No response, thank you for your concern' to speculative news, so I choose to explain here in words, concisely and clearly, not yet!"
This is not the first time Carol has been reported to be expecting again.
In 2016, the former Malaysian beauty queen, who was then 50, was said to be four months pregnant after she was seen with a supposed baby bump.
Sources revealed that the couple sought help from well-known gynaecologist Dr So Wai Ki and underwent IVF to conceive.
