“Aloysius Pang Is Now Conscious And Can Breathe Without Medical Assistance,” Says The Actor’s Boss Dasmond Koh

But there are no plans for him to return to Singapore yet.

“Aloysius Pang Is Now Conscious And Can Breathe Without Medical Assistance,” Says The Actor’s Boss Dasmond Koh
Aloysius Pang is doing well after his surgery, said Ch 8 star and NoonTalk Media boss Dasmond Koh at a press conference to update the media and his fans about the actor’s situation.

The 28-year-old actor was seriously injured during an overseas military exercise in New Zealand on Jan 19. Mindef has released a statement stating that Aloysius, who serves as an Armament Technician, “was carrying out repair works inside the Singapore Self-Propelled Howitzer (SSPH) at Waiouru Training Area, New Zealand when he sustained injuries to his chest and abdominal areas."

At the very sombre 30-minute press con at Mandarin Orchard, Dasmond could be seen holding back his tears on numerous times while talking about Aloysius. He told 8 DAYS that he will be flying to New Zealand tonight to see Aloy and will be there for the next three days. According to Dasmond, the actor is “not fit to fly back anytime soon” and that his injury happened when he was “pinned” by “something that fell on him”. But he declined to say more. “Until Mindef completes and releases the full investigative report on what happened, it would not be right for us to say or speculate any more,” explained Dasmond.
