Chinese Singer Allen Su Is The Only Artiste Lionel Messi Follows On Weibo

Sometimes, if you want your idol to notice you, you really have to do something crazy.

Just ask Chinese singer Allen Su Xing (苏醒), 38, who's a massive fan of football superstar Lionel Messi.

Three years ago, when Messi's Barcelona suffered a shock defeat to Liverpool during the UEFA European Football Championship semi-finals, Allen posted a 12-sec video of himself smashing the television out of frustration.

At that time, netizens criticised Allen's behaviour, saying: "This is not passion [for football], this is football hooliganism."

But who cares what netizens had to say 'cos it looks like Allen did get noticed by his idol. 

Recently, it was discovered that Messi actually follows Allen on Weibo.

You know what's even better than that?

If you take a look at Messi's following list on Weibo, you'd realise that the only people he follows are fellow famous footballers like David Beckham, Neymar and Pogba.

Basically Allen is the only artiste Messi follows on Weibo.
