Alice Ko anxious about upcoming wedding banquet

Celebrity couple Kunda Hsieh and Alice Ko registered their marriage last December after five years of dating. Alice accepted Kunda’s proposal and the pair decided to get hitched on the same day as it was the “only time this whole year that the both of them were free. At the same time, it coincided with Dec 3 – the day he proposed- so they decided to choose that date as it held a special meaning for them”.

Almost a year later, the pair have finally been able to find time to hold their wedding banquet, which is set for September 15. However, it seems that nerves have gotten the best of Alice as she shared on her Facebook page that she is “anxious” about the upcoming ceremony.

Her post read, “In the past few months, I’ve been busy filming and preparing for my wedding ceremony at the same time. I’ve honestly been a little anxious, because I want to be able to help with every part of the preparations, but I’m unable to do that. There are just some things that I don’t know anything about, and I can’t help even if I wanted to.”

“My head is full of too many things and my brain hasn’t stopped working. I’m worried that I haven’t prepared enough for the wedding, and I’m worried that I won’t do justice to my role. I just received the script for my new project and I don’t have a lot of time to prepare. Sometimes I can’t help but to ask myself, why am I doing this? The friends around me tell me that this isn’t a problem, and it’s all worth it. That whatever I’m going through now will become beautiful memories in the future,” Alice continued.

“I’ll believe in this. In the future, the entire process will become a story of its own. I’m really thankful to the friends who have volunteered their help. I’m really thankful to you, because I might have broken down if not for you. I can only hope that I can finish filming my show without a hitch and then have a good meal at my wedding ceremony.”

She shared that her motivation has been her husband, and the thought of Kunda smiling in his sleep has kept her going. “At the time, I thought to myself that I’d have no regrets even if the world ceased to exist.”
