His health really was suffering during that period.

Hongkong Actor Alex Fong Once Thought He Had Cancer 'Cos He Found Blood In His Poop

Hongkong actor Alex Fong, 42, (not to be confused with the other Alex "Richard Gere" Fong) is known for being an actor, singer and an Olympic swimmer back in the day.

Nicknamed "Little Flying Fish", he had many swimming achievements under his belt and represented Hongkong at competitions since he was 11.

So one could surmise that he's a very fit guy.

Alex, who recently became the spokesperson for a colorectal cancer testing kit in Hongkong, revealed at a press event that he had a cancer scare not too long ago when he found blood in his poop.

Turns out, his health suffered because of his busy work schedule which didn't allow him time to have regular meals.

According to Alex, his meals mostly consisted of meat and no vegetables. He was also constantly eating "rubbish food", especially when he was filming a new show.

He also realised after that bloody poop incident that he had mala hotpot the day before...

Nevertheless, Alex still went for a checkup which confirmed that he was okay.

He also shared that he then started taking better care of his intestinal health, so he wouldn't have the same worry again.
