Celebs hawking just about everything from household appliances to frozen seafood on live streams have become a really lucrative business. Taiwanese actor Ming Dao, for example, sold S$29.7mil worth of beauty products in a single live stream session, and is now known as the ‘King of Sales’.

Hoping to emulate his success was Hongkong actress Ada Choi, who recently held a live stream sesh to sell manual food blenders. Sadly, it didn't go as well as she wanted it to.
