Aaron Kwok Says His Finances Aren’t Handled By Him Or His Wife, But By His Manager

Not that we're surprised. Aaron and Siu Mei go way back and are said to have joined TVB on the same day close to four decades ago. When he ran into contract problems with the broadcaster, she reportedly gave up the opportunity to work abroad to manage him, and has stuck by his side ever since.

In fact, Siu Mei job scope far exceeds that of the average manager. Not only does she manage Aaron’s career and finances, she’s also reportedly his wife Moka Fang’s assistant whenever she goes for events. Siu Mei even takes on babysitting duties for the couple’s adorable daughters. No surprises that she's been dubbed “the perfect manager” by the public.

The fact that Aaron entrusts his money to Siu Mei has stirred up some debate online, with netizens pointing out that “it’s usually the wife's job to take care of this”. They then criticised Moka for being “useless”. It didn't help that previous reports have claimed that she’s too busy with being an influencer to take care of her own children... which is where Siu Mei steps in as a babysitter.

One netizen wrote: “Is Moka just a trophy wife? It seems like she exists to give birth to kids, look pretty and spend Aaron’s money. She’s useless in all other aspects.” Some even brought up rumours of the pick-up artist training camp she was speculated to have enrolled in prior to her marriage.

A netizen shared, “I’m starting to believe [those] rumours again. Faces like her are a dime a dozen. I don’t think she’s got a winning personality either, so how did she end up marrying Aaron Kwok? It just doesn’t make any sense.”
