According to reports, Aaron and his family arrived at the funeral in two cars, with Aaron and Moka getting off the first one, all ready to greet the media scrum.

That was when chaos ensued.

When their daughters alighted the other vehicle with Aaron's mother-in-law, the reporters rushed towards the second car to snap photos of the children, creating a scene outside the funeral hall.

Aaron and Moka immediately stepped forward to escort their kids away from the reporters, and the family finally managed to enter the hall smoothly.

Siu Mei with her father

According to Siu Mei, her father was already slipping in and out of consciousness on the morning of April 25th. The family then rushed him to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away the next day.

Siu Mei also emphasised that her father's passing had nothing to do with the pandemic.

When speaking to the media, Aaron shared that Siu Mei's father, who was one of the founding members of the Hongkong Basketball Association, was a respectable man.

Aaron also revealed that he would visit Siu Mei's home during festive seasons to have meals and her father was always very welcoming and hospitable.

He said that Siu Mei's father had watched him grow up.

"Now that he's gone, we wish to use this moment to pay our final respects to him," he said.
"I will also be a pallbearer tomorrow, thank you everyone for your concern."

Many of Siu Mei's showbiz friends also sent funeral wreaths, such as Hongkong singer Leo Ku and his wife, celeb couple Julian Cheung and Anita Yuen and actress Charlie Young.
