Yesterday (Jul 11), reports claimed that Aaron Kwok’s apartment in Hongkong's upscale Carrie Garden development had been broken into.

At that time, it was said that the 56-year-old Heavenly King was at home with his Chinese model wife Moka Fang, 34, and their two daughters, Chantelle, five and Charlotte, two, as well as his parents-in-law.

According to reports, the burglar was spotted attempting to break in by the neighbour’s helper. He then fled immediately.

However, in response to the news, Aaron's long-time manager Siu Mei says “it’s all a misunderstanding.”

Carrie Garden is a modern six-storey luxurious apartment building with only 16 units

“It wasn't Aaron’s unit that got burgled, it was his neighbour's apartment on the same level," said Siu Mei.

Apparently, each level in the Carrie Garden development has three units and Aaron and fam used to reside in another unit on the top floor. His original suite was said to have its private movie theater and karaoke room.

But Aaron recently rented another unit on a lower floor, which is next to the unit that was broken into, as his apartment is currently under renovation.

According to reports, when the police arrived and checked the CCTV, they found out that the burglar had climbed in and out of the building through a drain.
