Aaron Kwok Just Met Gong Yoo At An Event, And No One Cared About Their Obvious Height Difference
Sure the Korean heartthrob towered over the Heavenly King but Aaron just has too much star power.
Hong Kong Heavenly King Aaron Kwok may not be the tallest of stars, but he's sure not short on star power.
The 57-year-old recently made an appearance at a Tom Ford event in Hong Kong, where he crossed paths with fellow heartthrob, Korean actor Gong Yoo, 43.
And of course, the internet is going crazy over pictures of the duo together.
Never mind the 12cm height difference — Aaron’s height is listed between 1.68m to 1.72m, depending on which site you're reading, while Gong Yoo’s 1.84m — the sight of the two A-listers together in the same frame was more than enough.
While Hong Kong media had a field day waxing lyrical about how Aaron walked up to Gong Yoo “fearlessly, with no qualms about their height difference”, netizens couldn’t help but gush about the two celebs.
“Their charisma is overwhelming” one wrote, while another exclaimed that Aaron and Gong Yoo are “just too cool”.
Many also wrote that Aaron did not pale in comparison to Gong Yoo, praising the two for their crazy good looks.
Gong Yoo’s best known for his appearance in Korean productions like Squid Game and Train To Busan. His most recent work is the 2021 Netflix drama, The Silent Sea.
