Fake online ads that claim that a celeb uses their products or services are ethically wrong and also very common in showbiz.

Recently, a netizen shared that she was convinced to get treatment for an unspecified condition by a hospital in Ningbo after she seeing their ad that featured Hongkong actress Ada Choi.

The hospital had advertised Ada as one of their successful patients, and it instilled enough confidence in the netizen to fork out 4500 yuan (S$930) for a single injection.

However, the netizen felt a great deal of pain and discomfort after the jab, which led her to complain about her terrible experience online.
