When it comes to former stars, it looks like the ladies aren’t the only ones who get fans talking when they make rare appearances in the media.

Roy Cheung, who is best known for portraying memorable villains in some of Hongkong's biggest movies like City of Fire and the Young and Dangerous series, has been living a low-key life out of the spotlight ever since he served 20 days in detention for drug use and engaging in prostitution in 2014. He has since switched careers to become a businessman, with investments in Macau.

Recently, the 57-year-old attended an event in China with fellow actors Lawrence Ng, Mark Cheng, and Ben Ng, who, like him, are famed for their antagonistic roles. This led nostalgic fans to dub their reunion the gathering of the ‘Big Four Villains’. However, what really got netizens abuzz was Roy’s latest styling choice, which made him almost unrecognisable.
