Japanese Woman Who Became A Mum At 15 Is Now A Grandmother At Just 36

A Japanese woman’s unusual story of becoming a bride at 15 and a grandmother at 36 has set the internet abuzz after she appeared on the latest episode of Japanese reality-documentary variety show Love Hyena Season 6, an unconventional series that explores stories of love, life, and relationships.

The recent episode focuses on women who became grandmothers in their 30s, with Naru opening up about her relationship with her husband and the challenges they faced after marriage.

Naru was just 15 when she fell in love at first sight with a man 12 years her senior. According to her, the man, who was 27 at the time, quickly caught her eye, and Naru took the initiative to pursue him.

Naru discovered she was pregnant with their first child just one month after they started dating.

The story left the show’s hosts stunned, with one even exclaiming: “That’s really dangerous!”.

But things weren’t exactly smooth sailing after that. Naru revealed that her husband’s parents were against their relationship and marriage.

After they tied the knot, she also found out that her husband was carrying debts of up to 6 million yen (about S$47,800), leaving them struggling to make ends meet for a while.

Still, Naru shared that she and her husband stuck by each other and worked through their difficulties together.

Over the years, the couple went on to have four children. Their eldest daughter, now 20, recently welcomed her first child, making Naru a grandmother at just 36.

Today, Naru says she and her husband have built a close-knit family, with their home often filled with laughter. From becoming a mother at a young age to raising four children and becoming a grandmother at 36, her life has no doubt taken an unconventional path.

Many viewers were stunned by how quickly her relationship progressed at such a young age, while others expressed relief that Naru is doing well and appears to be happy with her family today.
