1.62m-Tall Wong Cho Lam’s Daughter Is Not Even 2, But She’s Already As Tall As His Waist

Remember when Chinese-born Canadian actress Leanne Li predicted that her daughter, Gabrielle, would grow up to be even taller than her husband, 1.62m tall Hongkong funnyman Wong Cho Lam, when she was barely six months old?
Well, it turns out that Leanne’s bold prediction might just be true after all. Recently, the family-of-three were spotted out on the streets of Hongkong together.
Time for a dinner date with friends
As Leanne is now pregnant with the couple’s second child, Cho Lam was the one who was taking care of Gabrielle.
Though they were only spotted outside for a short time, multiple pictures of the family out together were quickly posted online.

Netizens noted that Gabrielle, who’s 22 months old, was already as tall as Cho Lam’s waist. “You can tell with just one glance that Gabrielle’s inherited her mama’s height,” one netizen commented. Leanne, who was crowned Miss Chinese International Pageant in 2005, is 1.72m tall.
Like father, like daughter
Quick-witted Cho Lam soon caught wind of these comments, and uploaded this super hilarious post on his Weibo in reply.
The 40-year-old, who made sure to include the hashtag netizens were using to discuss Gabrielle’s height, wrote: “So what if she’s inherited my wife’s height! She looks just like me.”
He also attached a picture of Gabrielle and him hamming it up for the cameras with the same pose.

While most netizens agreed with Cho Lam, there were those who begged to differ. Like this one netizen, who wrote: “No no no, I feel that Gabrielle resembles Leanne more, Cho Lam, you’ll have to admit that you lost this fight,” attaching a pic of Leanne when she was a toddler next to Gabrielle’s photo.
