Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s… lip fillers. Kylie Jenner recently revealed that the secret behind her plump pout is not lip plumbers or gooey glosses, but — surprise, surprise — lip fillers. In early 2014, the star sported fuller-looker smackers, sparking speculations that she had lip surgery. The then 16-year-old Kylie denied the allegations, calling it “kinda insulting”. She only admitted to having “temporary lip fillers” in a 2015 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians after her sis Khloe busted her.
In a recent episode of her show, Life of Kylie, the 20-year-old finally came clean that she was motivated to plump her pout surgically after her first kiss. “The guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you were gonna be a good kisser ’cos you’ve such small lips.’ I took that really hard… it just really affected me. I didn’t feel desirable or pretty."
She added: "I’d over line my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally, I was like, ‘This lip liner isn’t doing it.’ I ended up getting my lips done.” Okay, girls, so now you know that using that lip kit from her Kylie Cosmetics range isn’t going to get you those ridiculously luscious lips.

Just like her lil sis, it seems the 32-year-old reality star has also gotten lip injections. Recently, fans slammed her fuller-looking pout for looking like “raw sausages”. Khloé has also admitted to getting facial fillers on her talk show Kocktails with Khloé in 2016. She said, “It did not work for me. I looked crazy, and I still think the effects are in there — I went to have it all dissolved like three times.” Butt, that’s not all. Last year, fans filled her IG with syringe emojis after she flaunted her too-perky posterior.

Her single eyelids were her trademark when she debuted. But in 2009, she confessed to having done double eyelid surgery. The singer said she didn’t want to always wear double eyelid tape as it was not only a hassle, but also damaging to her eyes and skin. Although netizens have called her out for her ever-changing face, Elva has repeatedly denied having gone under the knife for any other cosmetic procedures.

The pop diva admitted that she had double eyelid surgery. “I think plastic surgery is fine if it helps women to be more confident and happier. Of course, don’t make yourself look like a monster or alien after the surgery,” she said. As for rumours that she’s a plastic surgery addict, she refuted: “I don’t like hearing people say that I got my butt, chest, and chin done. I only got one thing done — my eyes!”

The Taiwanese TV host admitted in 2010 that his mum gifted him with a NT$20,000 (S$900) eyelid surgery for his birthday. He had fat removed from his eyelids to make them appear less puffy. Lee Teng had told a local English tabloid that his puffy eyes made him appear sleepy and that he had often been told by producers to look more alert on set. He said that applying double eyelid tape was not only a hassle but also embarrassing as the tape would fall off when he perspired. “Guys don’t like to spend too much time grooming, and it’s also very weird for us to use double eyelid tape,” he said.

In 2005, the TV host came clean about her botched nose job in Taiwan to warn others of the potential pitfalls of cosmetic surgery. She went under the knife to make her nose bridge higher, but reversed the surgery after just 10 days. Her quest for vanity landed her with a crooked nose implant and emotional trauma.

The Ch 8 comeback queen admitted to having had her eyelids done in 2003 in China. “What’s wrong? It’s a very modern society now,” she said. The actress also had the trademark mole on her forehead surgically removed a few years back.

The Hongkong star’s secret to looking youthful at 62? Eyelid surgery, when he was around the age of 33. “As I grew older, my eyelids began to droop. I began going for cosmetic surgery in Hong Kong when I was filming God of Gamblers in 1989,” he said, jokingly adding: “If you go to Hongkong for cosmetic surgery, I can introduce you to the doctor. He’s cheap and good!”

But during the Korean actress’ appearance in 2005’s rom-com My Girl, viewers noticed that she had morphed into a doe-eyed beauty. In a talk show, Da Hae admitted that she “did some ‘remodeling’ to [my] face.” When the shocked host replied, “I thought you didn’t get any plastic surgery!” Da Hae laughed: “Fantastic! Please continue to think that way!”

When the K-pop girl group first debuted in 2006 as homely Plain Janes, they were criticized by netizens for not being pretty and sexy enough. But with each album, their looks evolved. They finally skyrocketed to regional fame with their sultry image in ‘Abracadabra’.

JeA also revealed that singer Kim Na Young had mistaken Miryo as a rookie singer.
Both Narsha and Ga In have also admitted to fixing their faces, and said they are happier ’cos of it. In 2015, Ga In even divulged that their label imposed a plastic surgery ban on the girl group. So not taboo is the subject of plastic surgery to the girl group that they even poked fun at themselves by parodying Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ in a skit for SNL Korea called ‘Plastic Face’, in which they satirised South Korea’s cosmetic surgery craze.
