Did Dilireba Wear A “Second-Hand” Dior Necklace? Here’s What Really Happened

It’s not a stretch to say that Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat, aka Dilireba, turns heads wherever she goes, and her latest outing at a Dior high jewellery event was no exception, for more reasons than one.

Dressed in a black gown, the 33-year-old star elevated her look with the Belle Dior Soleil Céleste necklace, a standout piece from the brand’s collection valued at around 30 million yuan (S$5.58mil).

Symbolising protection and good fortune, the dazzling design only added to her regal presence.

But the real buzz came after the event.

A socialite who frequently attends luxury brand events posted a photo of herself wearing the same necklace, captioning it: “My Dilireba wore the necklace I wore the day before!”

The post quickly stirred online chatter, with some questioning whether the actress had been styled in “second-hand” jewellery, a move many deemed disrespectful.

It was later clarified that the socialite had merely tried on the piece — not owned it — so there was no “second-hand” situation to begin with.

And in a fitting twist, the necklace reportedly went on to sell for around 100mil yuan (S$18.6mil) at an auction — more than triple its original price — further cementing Dilireba’s influence in the world of luxury.
