Amid all that decadent roast meat, this chilled seafood platter is a refreshing and welcome change. It is packed in a big styrofoam box, with fresh raw and cooked seafood, like six Fine de Claire French oysters garnished with lemon wedges, White Wine and Garlic New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels, Littleneck Clams, boiled live prawns and half a steamed Boston lobster, all in neat plastic boxes (serving plates not provided). But there were also eight accompanying pretty Japanese-style bowls filled with dainty portions of house Cold-Smoked Salmon dressed simply with olive oil, chopped spring onions and red onions, as well as Tuna Tartare tossed in a light shoyu sauce. Time your delivery so you can chow down immediately when the platter arrives — especially the succulent, briny oysters. The lobster was sadly a bit rubbery (though the leftovers would make a delish bowl of porridge), but the prawns were sweet and springy. The highlight was the smoked salmon and tuna tartare, which were firm, fresh and flavourful.
