Thanks to our love for travelling, lu rou fan has won over the hearts of many Singaporeans. After all, what’s not to like about a simple but comforting bowl of steamed white rice bathed in tasty braised-till-tender morsels of diced pork that you can just eat with a spoon?

And times like these call for great doses of comfort, so we found ourselves making large batches of lu rou to devour whenever the mood strikes, which unsurprisingly, has been quite often.
