Since its first outlet opened as a hawker stall at Golden Mile Complex in 2019, One Prawn & Co has become a brand that’s well-known for its tasty, elevated prawn noodles. It even won a Michelin Bib Gourmand award after it relocated to a standalone kopitiam space in MacPherson. But here’s where things start to get confusing. The eatery was rebranded as Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co earlier this year, and introduced new pao fan and claypot rice dishes to its menu. In July, a much fancier restaurant called One Prawn & Co sprouted up at hipster enclave New Bahru. Here’s the kicker though – it doesn’t sell any prawn mee.
