White Rabbit Milk Drink Launching At 7-Eleven Outlets On Dec 16
And the craze for the milk candy continues.

These days, White Rabbit is not just the Shanghai-made, rice paper-wrapped milk candy that everyone remembers from their childhood. It now comes in many mod iterations — bubble tea, ice cream, cakes and even beauty products.

Milking it
On December 16, you will be able to get your hands on an imported White Rabbit milk drink at 7-Eleven outlets. The convenience store chain’s PR rep tells 8days.sg that the drink will be sold in individual packets at $2 each, adding that there is “limited stock, while stocks lasts only”. The item will be “progressively” stocked at 7-Eleven stores islandwide, so don’t panic if you can’t find it at your nearest outlet.

What it apparently tastes like
According to a Weibo netizen, the milk tastes similar to fellow Chinese brand Want Want’s canned milk drink, with “sufficient White Rabbit candy flavour”. Interesting. (Photo: Weibo/ @mayr33)

Can't stop, won't stop
Just like its namesake animal, the flavours for the OG milk candy have been proliferating like crazy. You can now buy White Rabbit candy in new funky versions like Red Bean, Corn and Yogurt from Taobao, while we have seen Chocolate and Matcha flavours at FairPrice Finest supermarkets at Jewel Changi Airport and Zhongshan Mall respectively.
