Uniqlo Opens First-Ever Cafe In Tokyo With S$2.50 Coffee
Here’s hoping that we can travel to Japan again soon.
Uniqlo recently revamped its massive 12-storey flagship outlet in Tokyo’s glitzy Ginza district. Part of the revamp includes the fashion retailer’s first-ever cafe, Uniqlo Coffee, which is located on the top floor of the store.
It looks pretty atas
The sparse, minimalist counter sports bronze and wood accents. There are also seats by the ceiling-to-floor windows that let shoppers rest their feet and people-watch.
Prices are reasonable, though
But just like Uniqlo’s clothes, the cafe’s prices are pretty wallet-friendly.
Two coffee options on the menu
There are just two coffee options on the menu brewed with proprietary beans - the Uniqlo Original Blend Coffee (¥200, or S$2.50 for hot/iced) and the fancier Geisha Bean Hand-Drip Coffee (¥450/ S$5.60).
Luxury butter cookies
The cafe also sells Butter Cookies (¥200/ S$2.50 each) from Japanese luxury confectioner Ginza West, which is known for its fancy packaged treats.
There’s a florist here too
Other than a cafe, the 12-storey building also houses a Uniqlo florist, which has bouquets from ¥450 (S$4.80).
Custom-made suits
On the fashion front, the store offers a customisation service for suits. Here’s hoping that we can travel to Japan again soon.
