Titus Low’s Gelato Cafe In Toa Payoh Shuts Down; He Says: 'Biz Wasn’t Paying My Bills’

Titus didn’t know about the cafe’s closure

Surprisingly, when 8days.sg reached out to Titus, the closure was news to him too — turns out he’d already taken a step back from the business last year. “I’m not really involved, I found out [it closed] down from you instead,” he tells us.

He reveals he left the cafe last August to focus on his raunchy content creation career just two months after the shop’s relocation to Toa Payoh.

“[After I left], my previous business partner [took over the biz], along with other [partners],” he explains. 

No longer in touch with ex-biz partners

Titus shares that he is no longer in touch with his former business partners “due to us pursuing different goals”. When asked if they were friends or purely work partners, he replies that it was “a mix of both” and that they “started off as friends”.

Titus clarifies that he is unsure of the reason behind the shop’s recent closure, but opines: “Maybe business was slow. Sustaining an F&B business is hard in Singapore due to the high expenses.”

While both Titus and the other owners of OC Cafe that 8days.sg reached out to declined to comment on whether the Toa Payoh business made any losses, Titus bluntly tells 8days.sg: “it wasn’t paying my bills” and that he’d rather “focus on the things [that do]”. 

OC Cafe’s unit will be occupied by a new cafe selling ice cream, Le Ruby. It took over the lease on 15 July 2025, though it’s unclear when exactly OC Cafe ceased operations.

On alleged abuse accusations: “I should’ve spent my energy on the correct people”

The 25-year-old father of one is no stranger to going viral on social media. One example was when he squabbled with his ex-wife and influencer Cheryl Chin over co-parenting arrangements for their daughter Elleria, aged two, after announcing their split in 2023. Titus had publicly accused Cheryl of restricting access to his daughter and claimed he was denied “basic parental rights”.

More recently, a 21-year-old Austrian woman, Sara, accused Titus of physical and verbal abuse during her visit to Singapore to film content with him while he hosted her at his home. After an argument, she claimed that he slapped her, dragged her off his bed and asked her to leave his apartment. She shared audio recordings, text messages and photos of her bruises online, which he has since denied. Titus told Mothership in an interview that Sara had requested he “discipline" her in a sexually suggestive manner with a slap. Sara submitted a report to the Singapore Police Force regarding the alleged abuse on 1 July and they’ve since reached out to her.

Titus tells 8days.sg: “No, there aren't any legal issues [for me] as I didn’t break any laws.” 

“I should have filtered and spent my energy on the correct people. If not negative stuff like this will come along,” he reflects when asked how he feels about the viral incident. 

Why he left the gelato biz

Running a cafe was one thing too many on Titus’s plate: “I didn’t have much time to juggle between social media, OnlyFans, my social life, fitness and family,” the former co-owner explains. He adds that he occasionally went down to the cafe and served customers before he decided to exit the biz. 

He muses: “I don’t think I’ll touch [the] F&B [industry] for now”. Mainly because he “currently has too many projects on hand” and is frequently overseas, mostly for work creating adult content for OnlyFans and other platforms. 

He shares that he has “made more than 20 overseas trips this year. I’m out of Singapore half the time.” He adds that he might reconsider dabbling in F&B again “maybe in the future, when I’m travelling less”.

Relocated gelateria from Chinatown to heartlands after 5-figure loss

Titus told 8days.sg last August that he and his partners relocated their gelato parlour from Chinatown to Toa Payoh after almost two years due to a “high five-figure loss”. He said rental back then cost him and his three business partners around $10K each month. “[We also] mostly made losses through renovations, as well as the move-in delay period when we still had to pay rent”. 

He added that the rental for the Toa Payoh outlet was around 40 percent cheaper, hence the move.

Ice cream cafe taking over OC’s Toa Payoh space

One of the co-owners of the upcoming new cafe Le Ruby, Serene Tan, 34, shares with 8days.sg that they will be specialising in “beverages, ice cream and maybe some finger foods”. 

“It’s somewhat similar to OC, which was a gelato cafe, but with a different menu and vibe,” she adds. “There’s no major renovation work, just a minor revamp and clean up.”
