Subway Goes Mod Sin With Customisable Rendang Sub & Pandan Cookie

The first thing that hits you is the chilli heat, then the aromatic lemongrass, and finally the comforting warmth of coconut. Stacked up with “the works” — crunchy fresh greens, peppers, onions — and sandwiched between fluffy bread, this has a fun fusion flavour profile. If you’re looking for something a little less carby, this hits the spot. We like loading this up with extra vegetables and opting for the chicken rendang filling as it feels just a tad more virtuous. It’s like a crunchy, spicy Singaporean-style burrito that feels good for you. Plus points for the wrap holding everything together.

Think a mod Sin Philly Cheesesteak, pairing the aromatic Southeast Asian spices of beef rendang with sharp, melty cheese. Ask for another slice of cheddar cheese and opt for the signature cheese sauce. The extra cheese enrobes the rendang, and doubles down on the rich, savoury flavours.

Finish on a sweet, lemak high with the fragrant Pandan Cookie. These subtly green, super-soft and chewy morsels are freshly baked on-site at Subway outlets and feature a strong pandan, coconut and vanilla flavour profile, with a light but toothsome texture.
