Rumours About Foodpanda S’pore Closing Not True

Food delivery service Foodpanda has had a tough couple of months — first, its riders were affected by the PMD footpath ban which started on November 5, 2019. And now, there’s word on the Internet that the service, which has been around since 2011, is possibly facing operational issues.

Local Facebook page Singapore Atrium Sale posted today (January 2) that Foodpanda had closed its informal Telegram chat groups for riders. According to a screengrab posted on the page, Foodpanda had also urged its riders to join a new channel called @fpannouncements “for updates”.
