Omakase Burger Opening Standalone Restaurant At Orchard Central With Lower Prices As Picnic Closes
It currently also has two express pop-up outlets.
Covid-19 claims another F&B business, with food enclave Picnic closing at Wisma Atria this Oct 25. The sprawling multi-concept space also houses the popular Omakase Burger stall, which moved from a standalone restaurant unit to Picnic after the latter opened in 2016.
Picnic and Omakase Burger’s owner, Cheng Hsin-Yao, tells 8days.sg that he has plans to relaunch his burger brand. Come November 1, he’s opening a new flagship restaurant for Omakase Burger at Orchard Central’s fourth floor.
The 2,000 sq ft space, which can seat 60 pax, will house “two [separate] restaurants side by side”, including Omakase Burger and SuperGreek, his fast-casual Greek food concept which currently has kiosks at Picnic and Raffles City Shopping Centre.
