New Punggol Food Kiosk Named Xian Dan Chao Ren Sells Salted Egg Everything

There are five 'superhero' ingredients to choose from for your order: Chicken, Pumpkin, Mantou, Lotus Root, and Fish. Everything here comes with house-made salted egg yolk sauce, except you can have it served either 'flip' or 'dip'.

'Flip' consists of your choice of ingredients stir-fried in a wok with the salted egg sauce. 'Dip' is a less jelak option with the sauce served on the side as a dip. All a la carte items come in two sizes: Regular and Large (top up $2).

There are two choices of protein, a battered fried chicken with salted egg sauce and the Xian Dan Chao Ren Fish, which goes for the same price.

There's also vegetarian options like battered pumpkin doused in salted egg sauce and Xian Dan Chao Ren Lotus Root ($4.90).

For those who want to fill your tummies, you can upgrade your a la carte items with a serving of rice and sunny side up egg for an additional $2.

Can’t decide on what to get? There's a platter that comes with all five types of hero ingredients. The Dynamic Duo ($7.90) and Terrific Trio ($9.90) options let you mix and match two or three ingredients of your choice respectively.

Xian Dan Chao Ren opens in Waterway Point on Mar 10. Customers can get a free upgrade of their order from Regular size to Large on opening day.
