The circuit breaker has seen its share of F&B casualties — but now that dining-in is allowed again for Phase 2, there are also new eateries popping up. Like Indonesian cafe chain Maxx Coffee, which recently opened its first two Singapore branches at Jem mall in Jurong and NUS. It has some 80 outlets in its native country, and the brand is owned by Singapore-based real estate developer OUE Limited (itself headed by the Indonesian Riady family).
