Fourth pop-up in Singapore
This is the fourth time that it’s holding a pop-up here. It first appeared in Singapore in 2012 at Boat Quay restaurant Golden Grill, then Timbre at Gillman Barracks in 2014. And in 2019, it held another sold-out session at Upper Thomson cafe Columbus Coffee Co., which saw people queuing from as early as 6.30am.

The 2024 pop-up will also be held at Columbus Coffee Co. In-N-Out Burger’s US-based manager of special foreign events, Eric Billings, told 8days.sg in 2019 that the chain had chosen the location as “we really enjoy the venue here”.
In-N-Out was founded in 1948 in Los Angeles, and is still privately run by the same founding Snyder family today. It is well-loved in the US for its fresh chuck beef patties made a la minute with American ground chuck beef, which go into burgers like the Double-Double, Protein Style and Animal Style.

Limited burger quantities
As with the previous pop-ups, this year’s shindig will also run for a limited time period from 10am to 4pm. That’s two hours more than the 2019 pop-up, which ran from 11am to 2pm.
But there’s no doubt that you have to queue; the crowd control at previous sessions were good, with customers given wrist tags while waiting within a corralled area outside the cafe.
According to The Straits Times, where an ad for the pop-up was placed, the event will also offer In-N-Out’s three popular burgers: the Double-Double, Protein Style and Animal Style.
There will be limited quantities available, sold on a first-come-first-served basis. When 8days.sg went for the 2019 pop-up, customers were limited to just one burger per person, which means more people will have a fair chance of trying the food.
In-N-Out Burger’s 2024 Singapore pop-up is happening on May 31, 10am-4pm, at Columbus Coffee Co., 220 Upper Thomson Rd, S574352. First-come-first-served, while stocks last.
