After a pop-up with three-hour queues last year, Mister Donut is opening permanently in Singapore on May 21. The franchised Singapore outlet, brought in by the parent company of Ichiban Boshi and Kuriya Japanese Market, is located at Bishan’s Junction 8 mall.

The takeaway kiosk will offer 20 doughnut flavours, including two Singapore exclusives — a chocolate-dipped mochi Pon De Ring doughnut and a Strawberry Chocolate ring with a cake-like texture.

Prices range from $2.30 to $2.50 for a doughnut, and customers can get half a dozen for $14, or 10 for $23. Each person is limited to a maximum purchase of 10 doughnuts (including no more than four Pon De Rings) for now.

A second outlet — slated to be in the central area — is already in the works. It will have dine-in seats and a selection of drinks to go with the sweet treats.
