On Mar 24, Singapore-listed company DFI Retail Group announced that it was selling its supermarket brands, which includes 48 Cold Storage and 41 Giant outlets, to Malaysian firm Macrovalue for S$125mil.

The divestment also includes two distribution centres and upscale supermarket brands under Cold Storage: CS Fresh, CS Gold and Jason’s Deli.
