Louis Vuitton Opening Takashi Murakami Collab Pop-Up Cafe Where You Can Repair Your LV Bag Too

What to expect at the cafe
The pop-up takes over an old-school shophouse at 72 Joo Chiat Place, which used to house the famous Fei Fei Wanton Mee (it has moved a few units down to 45 Joo Chiat Place, so you can grab a bite there if you're visiting the pop-up too). Workers were already setting up the LV pop-up universe earlier today (Dec 27).
According to Louis Vuitton, there will be “four distinct zones” to explore: Retail Space, Cinema, Care Station and Café.
The cafe will be “decorated with Murakami flower cushions”, and will offer “a selection of beverages from coffee latte to lemonade served in a specially designed biodegradable Louis Vuitton x Murakami Superflat Panda cup”.
These drinks are not complimentary, but every beverage purchase gets you a cookie.
There will also be a “cosy cinema space” showcasing Takashi Murakami’s films, as well as a “Care Station” with “dedicated care and repair services” for archival Louis Vuitton x Murakami products.
Which means you can bring your old LV Murakami collab items to the pop-up to get replacement parts, canvas and metal cleaning, and paint care.
