KFC Launching New Spicy Nyonya Chicken
Oops, my new year diet.

New year, new things to try, starting with McDonald’s new Mango Passionfruit Pie, which it launched today (January 1). But wait! There are even more new snacks coming your way.

First fried chicken feed of the year
On January 2, KFC is introducing its limited-edition Nyonya Chicken. It is spicy fried chook with a craggy, crispy skin slathered with a Peranakan sambal belacan-style sauce made with chillies, dried shrimp, grated coconut, laksa leaves and curry spices. Sounds lemak. This comes after the fast food chain’s decent Sour Cream & Onion Chicken, which was recently on its menu.
Check out the dishes and prices below:

One-piece Nyonya Chicken, from $3.60

Two-piece Nyonya Chicken Meal, from $8.95
Each meal comes with regular-size coleslaw and whipped potato, plus a cup of Sjora strawberry kiwi drink.

Five-piece Nyonya Chicken Meal, from $19.55

Nyonya Chicken Box, from $10.95
This is similar to the two-piece meal, except you also get fries and two pieces of chicken tenders.

Nine-piece Nyonya Chicken Feast, from $39.95
Comes with additional nine pieces of chicken nuggets, along with the Nyonya Chicken, coleslaw, whipped potato and Sjora drinks.

Eat chicken win money
From January 2 to February 2, you also get to participate in KFC's Grand Lucky Draw when you order a Nyonya Chicken meal at its restaurants or via online delivery. There are three grand cash prizes of $8,888 and five weekly prizes of $3,888 up for grabs. Each purchase also gives you a chance to play the KFC Ang Bao Rush! game, where one winner will be picked every week for a cash prize of $388. You will also get instant rewards of KFC cash vouchers and discounts off snacks and drinks each time you play.
Available from January 2 at all KFC outlets except KFC KidZania and the Singapore Zoo, and via KFC Delivery. www.kfc.com.sg.
