Jollibee Reopens In “Bigger & More Convenient” Spot At Lucky Plaza, Giving Free Mascot Funko Pop For Opening Day
To celebrate its reopening day, Jollibee also has a Spin-the-Wheel contest where you can win food vouchers, merch or GV Gold Class movie tickets.
Filipino fast food chain Jollibee is an icon at Lucky Plaza, which was why many people were puzzled when it unexpectedly closed its longtime sixth floor restaurant in the mall. (The restaurant also got a strangely amusing compliment from its shop neighbour/ fried chicken competitor Fiie’s Cafe’s famously grumpy owner, who told 8days.sg that diners should “go to Jollibee if they want service”.)
Then another shocker: the McDonald’s outlet at the entrance of Lucky Plaza quietly closed in January this year too, after 34 years in business there.
But patrons will still be able to get their Jollibee Chickenjoy at Lucky Plaza, as the brand has taken over McDonald’s former spot at #B1-19. The new restaurant opens next Monday (Jul 22).

“Wider and more convenient” location
A press release sent to the media described the new Jollibee Lucky Plaza outlet as being “wider and more convenient for visitors”, accommodating up to 118 customers.
The restaurant also gets a “more modern and vibrant” decor revamp, with new self-order kiosks to speed up the queues.
The menu
Menu-wise, you can expect the usual Jollibee offerings like Chickenjoy fried chicken set meals with spaghetti, fries and mashed potatoes, Chicken Sandwich and dessert pies.
Freebies on opening day
For the first 100 customers who dine in or order takeaway food at the restaurant on opening day, you can redeem a free Jollibee tote bag with a bee mascot Funko Pop! figurine and food vouchers. Each customer is limited to one bag per order.
Diners who spend at least $15 on any Jollibee meal with a large-sized Coke beverage will also get to try their hand at winning prizes on Jollibee and Coca-Cola’s Spin-to-Win contest. Prizes include food vouchers, Jollibee merchandise and Golden Village Gold Class movie tickets.
But if you die die just want the cute bee Funko Pop! figurine, you can take a photo at the new restaurant, share it on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook and tag @JollibeeSG to score one. Just show your social media post at the ordering counter for redemption.
For food delivery customers, you get a discount on delivery fee with a minimum order of $30 on GrabFood, or free delivery with a minimum order of $28 via Foodpanda.
