Come for the outlet shopping, stay for the marvellous makan spots.

Quick! Think of IMM and what it has to offer. If you said, “outlet shopping”, you’re not wrong — but you’re not quite getting the full picture, either. Beyond the delicious bargains on branded goods, IMM is evolving into a dining hotspot, with a lineup of new and revamped eateries ready to satisfy every craving after a productive round of discounted retail therapy.
From Japanese classics slathered in mentaiko to sizzling hot steaks, here are five new spots proving that IMM’s food scene is just as much of a steal as its shopping deals.

1. Hakata Mentai Yamaya Kitchen
If the thought of velvety fish roe has your taste buds tingling, Hakata Mentai Yamaya Kitchen should be high on your must-visit list. This place is a full-on love letter to mentaiko, with umami-rich pollock roe imported straight from Hakata, Japan, and supplied by Yamaya Communications — one of the country’s top mentaiko producers.
True to its name, almost every dish here is a celebration of mentaiko. Must-tries include its signature Rice Sets, with options like Salmon Mentai ($21.90) and crispy Chicken Cutlet ($15.90).
Noodle lovers can slurp up the indulgent Grilled Prawn Bisque Udon ($13.90) or dive into the rich, creamy Mentai Cream Baked Cheese Udon ($12.90). And if that’s not enough, the latest additions — the Oden Rice Set ($16.90) and Pork Sukiyaki Rice Set ($17.90) — offer even more ways to get your mentaiko fix.
But here’s where it gets even better: order any of the mains and enjoy free-flow mentaiko, takana (pickled mustard greens), miso soup, and rice. Consider this your invitation to eat your weight in mentaiko.

Great news for Westies: Besides JEM, Din Tai Fung has also landed at IMM, bringing its legendary Taiwanese delights right to your doorstep. No more cross-island journeys just for those iconic Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao, each dumpling filled with rich, soul-warming broth.
While the Xiao Long Bao is the star, plenty of other dishes deserve attention. The Sweet & Sour Pork strikes the perfect balance of tangy and sweet (with generous servings of pork shoulder), while the Deep-fried Handmade Tofu with Lotus Roots & Mushrooms offers a contrast of crunchy and silky textures.
For comfort food cravings, the Steamed Chicken Soup is pure, nourishing goodness (there’s a reason it’s long been hailed as the ultimate healing dish), while the Fried Rice with Pork Chop & Eggs features light, fluffy grains, evenly coated with fragrant eggs and complemented by a garnish of fresh spring onions.
And because there’s always room for dessert, end on a sweet note with the Steamed Custard Bun, a molten treat that’s impossible to resist.
