Honolulu Café Launches Limited-Edition Ice Cream Bolo Buns
The first 30 customers who order the buns get to play Squid Game’s dalgona candy challenge to win free food.
Comes in three flavours
The bolo buns ($4.80 each) are stuffed with cookie crumble and ice cream that comes in three flavours: Coconut, Cookies & Cream and Taro.
The Cookies & Cream flavour is also topped with mini Oreos, while you get two chocolate Pocky sticks for the Taro and Coconut flavours.
Play the dalgona candy game
The first 30 customers of the day also get to play Squid Game’s dalgona candy challenge, where you must etch out — intact — a shape stamped on a piece of caramelised sugar candy. If you fail at the task, you won’t be waterboarded with milk tea, but winners get a reward in your choice of a free HK-Style Iced Red Bean Milk or Curry Fish Balls.
