Hip Ice Cream And Waffles With A Side Of Nostalgia At Leng Leng
This petite dessert parlour in Changi is seriously charming. And the sweets are actually good, too.
While the name Leng Leng translates to “cold cold” from Hokkien, it is also a nod to the Chinese names of the sisters Shirlene Chew Leng Hwang, 55 and Katherine Chew Leng Katt, 48, who own this five-month-old business. The shop specialises in Singapore-style ice cream and other desserts. Such as this Sugee Waffle with Horlicks Ice Cream (see slide #7).
