Heytea Opens Third Store At Westgate And Will Soon Offer Oreo With Milk Tea Ice Cream

Similar to the dine-in Clarke Quay joint, the Jurong café will also have 28 seats. But the décor here is different, with a “traditional Chinese handscroll” theme. Much of the furniture and fixings sport a cylindrical form with a black and white Zen colour scheme.

What’s a new store without new drinks? While Heytea is mostly popular for its light, fruity teas, it’ll be introducing two new Oreo-flavoured treats here (and also at its other two outlets) around 21 September. The upcoming Oreo Boboshake ($7.80) blitzes Oreo cookie crumbs, fresh milk, cheese and ice to produce a decadent Oreo slushie. It's then topped with chewy brown sugar “brown bobo” boba pearls. Meanwhile, the King Fone Cheezo ice cream has been adapted into an Oreo Sundae ($3.50 mini; $4.50 regular), combining the original milk accented roasted Jinfeng tea flavoured soft-serve with crushed Oreos. If you think this sounds kinda familiar, well, it's 'cos Heytea had a similar limited-edition Oreo drink last year, but that version was sweetened with brown sugar syrup.

Furthermore, the Tispy Grape Beer ($8.70) will also be introduced soon. It's the only alcoholic item on the Westgate branch’s menu. It debuted recently at the Ion and Clarke Quay outlets and it’s an alcoholic twist to the brand's Very Grape Cheezo tea. Both drinks have a base made from green tea and hand-peeled grapes, but the Very Grape Cheezo is dolloped with cheese foam while the boozy version is blended with Thai beer, Singha.
