First Five Guys Burger Outlet Opening At Plaza Singapura
Here’s when you can sink your teeth into its burgers.
So, everyone was excited about the news — which we were the first to break — that American cult fave burger joint, Five Guys, will be opening in Singapore. Today, local franchise owner Zouk Group announced that the first outlet here will be located at Plaza Singapura. Says its press release: “Taking over a prime position on the ground level of mall near the main atrium, the premises at Plaza Singapura will allow Five Guys to accommodate both indoor and outdoor seating options”. It also adds that the eatery will open sometime in the fourth quarter of 2019 (Oct – Dec).

8 DAYS was informed last month by a credible F&B industry source (who requested to remain anonymous), that the brand plans to open an outlet in Singapore as well as Malaysia, KL, in the last quarter of 2019. This will be Five Guys’ second outlet in Asia — its first one opened in Hong Kong last November. Our insider source also tells us exclusively that the brand plans to open a total of about five outlets across Asia within 2019, with a projected five to eight outlets in Singapore alone over the next five years — but all depending on demand.
