From May 16 to June 13, there will be no dining-in allowed in Singapore, due to a recent spike in Covid-19 community cases. The new Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) restriction was announced by the Multi-ministry Taskforce (MTF) at a press conference today (May 14).

The MTF has also implemented a cap on social gatherings - only two pax per gathering, down from the current eight - during the month-long period.

The measures are tightened for the first time since Phase 2 was launched on June 19, 2020, which permitted eateries to reopen for dine-in service with safe distancing measures.
