’Tis the season for the King of Fruits, and if you’re looking for a good deal — supermarket chain FairPrice is offering kampong durians at just $1.95 each this month at selected outlets.
As with many cheap and good things, there’s a caveat: Durian lovers who want to snag this deal will have two sets of dates to watch out for.

Cheap durians available at these FairPrice outlets only
The first wave of sales will be from June 13 to 15 at the FairPrice outlet at 212 Bedok North, Street 1.
The second batch of sales will be held from June 20 to 22 at FairPrice's Kangkar Mall outlet.
The promotion starts at 9am daily, and is limited to the first 300 customers each day. To keep things fair, each customer can buy a maximum of two kampung durians.

Aside from the promotional durians, FairPrice will also be selling other popular varieties – including Musang King and Red Prawn – at regular prices.
