Cinnabon Fans Queue 2 Hours For Cinnamon Rolls Ahead Of Soft Opening Of Comeback Outlet
American cinnamon roll chain Cinnabon is back in Singapore again. It soft launched its comeback outlet today (Feb 7) at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre. The chain left the local market back in 2002, when it closed its Orchard Road branch.
During the soft launch period on Feb 7 and 8, the outlet is operating from 11am to 2pm, or while stocks last. After its grand opening on Feb 9, the hours will be extended from 11am to 8.30pm.

Soft opening
Cinnabon Singapore’s comeback cafe has 20 dine-in seats, and the rolls are made from scratch in-house. Prices start from $4.20 for a “fun-sized” Classic Minibon bun, with optional toppings like Chocolate Syrup ($1.50), Cream Cheese ($2) and Caramel ($2).
If you don’t fancy ice blended drinks, Cinnabon offers a regular coffee and tea menu too, with options such as Americano ($4.50 hot/ $5.50 iced) and Matcha Latte ($6 hot/ $7 iced).
Cinnabon fans started queueing at 9am
According to a Cinnabon rep, fans started queueing at around 9am this morning, two hours ahead of the cafe’s opening at 11am. If you are planning to join the queue, do note that it starts from the level below at B2 (the line is broken up into two to avoid blocking the pedestrian walkway).
Each customer gets a queue ticket which limits them to a maximum of three boxes of Cinnapacks, which come with four warm rolls (your choice of four-piece Cinnabon or Minibon).
The rep also shared that the waiting time today (Feb 7) was “around one hour to one-and-a-half hour”. Wabi-Sabi s planning to open more Cinnabon outlets here, and is “in the midst of shortlisting suitable locations”.
