Update: Fei Zhu Lok Lok is now at Jurong West and Tampines.

Fans of Johor Bahru-style lok lok now have a new place to satisfy their craving. A new lok lok stall has opened shop at Tai Seng industrial estate and it’s been pulling in the crowds with its affordable skewers. The popular Malaysian street snack consists of skewered steamboat ingredients, which are served either deep-fried or boiled in a broth.

Fei Zhu Lok Lok offers over 30 varieties of skewers, including your usual suspects like sausages, pork belly-wrapped enoki mushrooms, and chicken skin for $1. Premium items like tempura prawns, scallops, and shrimp go for $2. There are plans to introduce meat skewers in the coming weeks.
