Celeb Chef Andre Chiang Retiring ‘From Front Line Of Restaurants’, But Will Open Hotpot Diner In S’pore

Earlier this week, Taiwanese celebrity chef Andre Chiang announced his retirement “from the frontline of restaurants” at a press conference held at his two-Michelin-starred restaurant Raw in Taipei.  The eatery, which opened in 2014 serving creative Taiwanese cuisine, will cease operations on Dec 31, 2024.

Raw will begin serving its final menu, themed The Last Dance, from Aug 16 until the last day of operations on Dec 31. The menu is described as “a personal love letter to everyone who loves Andre and his cuisine”.
