15 Mao Shan Wang Durian Shops That Accept SG60 & CDC Vouchers
’Tis the season for the return of the king. Here’s where to whack quality MSW durians using your SG60 vouchers (seniors would’ve received them already, while citizens aged 21 to 59 will get them on 22 July).
Durian season is back and we’re zeroing in on the king of all cultivars — the mighty Mao Shan Wang. With prices easily hitting over $40 a box these days, government-issued vouchers are your ticket to indulging in that creamy, dreamy shiokness without breaking the bank.
This year, every Singaporean household received $800 in CDC vouchers. On top of that, seniors aged 60 and above would have gotten their $800 in SG60 vouchers on 1 July 2025, while Singapore citizens aged 21 to 59 will receive $600 each on 22 July. These SG60 vouchers work just like CDC vouchers at participating hawker stalls, heartland shops and supermarkets listed on gowhere.gov.sg.

Claim your durians with CDC and SG60 vouchers
CDC vouchers expire on 31 December 2025, while SG60 vouchers are valid till 31 December 2026.
Durian season typically runs from June to September, but Alvin Teoh, bossman of popular Geylang fruit shop Durian 36, shares that durians have “dropped too fast [from their trees] this year due to the hot weather.” He adds: “[I predict that] durian season will peak this month, then [decline] slightly in August and September.”
We’ve spotted around 90 durian stalls accepting both CDC and SG60 vouchers across Singapore (our list may not be exhaustive). Here are 15 spots to start with — featuring well-loved names like Ah Seng Durian and Durian 36 — to get your gloriously pongy fix this season.
Rough Guide to Mao Shan Wang Durian Grades
Before you go durian-hunting, read this. According to Alvin of Durian 36, grading of durians isn’t done so much by weight, but by its number of “compartments” aka segments. More segments means more fruit and plenty more to relish. If durians aren’t graded by weight, how does he tell which ones cradle more prized segments? He explains: “We can tell from the shape. The rounder it is, the more compartments, irregular shaped durians have less seeds. The weight of a durian doesn’t mean much — sometimes a very heavy one around 3kg can contain only 3 compartments”.
Grade AA - “Extra large durian with about five compartments, usually exported to China and not common in Singapore. As for durians with the “AAA grade”, it’s usually a marketing term created by the seller”.
Grade A - Large durian with “four to five compartments”.
Grade AB - MSW with “four compartments”.
Grade B - Medium durian with “three compartments”.
Grade C - Smaller, irregular-shaped MSW with “two to three compartments”.

1. Durian 36 and Fruits Top 1 Department Store
Price: $24/kg (grade A); $18/kg (grade B) Mao Shan Wang durians
Genial, boyish durian towkay, Alvin Teoh, better known as Ah Yong (above pic), owns two shops: Fruits Top 1 Department Store at Toa Payoh and Durian 36, the more popular one at Geylang (search for “Fruits Top 1 Department Store” on the CDC/SG60 voucher site). With over 20 years of history, the Geylang shop is still killing it, packed to the rafters with durian fiends most nights. We suggest whacking its awesome Pahang Mao Shan Wang at this flagship outlet, which seats up to 80. It’s also where Ah Yong is stationed — 8days.sg’s food ed often looks to him for the best stuff. Fun fact: Ah Yong is also supplying the durians to Resorts World Sentosa’s upcoming ‘All Hail The King Durian Festival’, where customers gorge on a buffet of assorted durian cultivars.

2. Ah Seng Durian
Price: $24/kg (grade A) Mao Shan Wang durians
Named after its founder Ah Seng, who began selling kampung durians in the 1980s with his brother at their parents’ provision shop, this pioneer durian stall at Ghim Moh market is still a hit among durian aficionados.
Beyond the stall, Ah Seng Durian also owns a fancier durian-themed café of the same name at Bukit Merah. There, you can dine in comfort and enjoy treats like MSW ice cream and MSW durian white coffee. And yes, fresh durians are also available at this air-conditioned spot. And yep, CDC/SG60 vouchers are accepted at both joints.

3. Lexus Durian King
Price: $18/kg Mao Shan Wang durians
Some of your durian-lovin’ folks may recognise Lexus Durian King through local actor Ben Yeo’s recent TikTok livestreams. The TV host cum F&B entrepreneur recently collaborated with the durian spot and sold fruits via the app’s e-commerce feature and TikTok shop, at cheaper prices. But to utilise your CDC/SG60 vouchers, you’ll need to dine in. Drop by one of Lexus Durian King outlets at Kovan or Marine Parade.

4. Sindy Durian
Price: $33/kg Mao Shan Wang durians
This family-run business is famous, some say infamous, for selling expensive “top quality” durians for over three decades. Does this mean their premium-priced fruits are super A grade quality ones? A Sindy Durian rep tells 8days.sg shortly over the phone: “I don’t go by grades, I sell what I can.” You can also grab a box for a more affordable $40 — though note that portions for those aren't based on weight. She emphasises: “The price for a box is cheaper. But we don’t go by weight.” Perhaps they go by mood?

5. Lele Durian
Price: $20/kg Mao Shan Wang durians
Located at Ghim Moh Road Market & Food Centre near the more famous Ah Seng, this durian stall features an alfresco dining area that seats about 20 pax. Each durian order comes with a free sample of their Mao Shan Wang gelato. Fun.

6. 211 House of Durian
Price: $26/kg (grade AAA) Mao Shan Wang durians
Apparently, AAA-grade Mao Shan Wang is an unofficial classification of the fruit, and since we haven’t tried the “AAA-grade” MSW here, we can’t vouch for its quality. But feel free to try some at 211’s Toa Payoh store, along with its durian ice cream and other desserts.

7. Durian Kia
Price: $36 per 450g box of Mao Shan Wang durians (dehusked)
Durian Kia is offering a sweet deal — three packs of premium durian cultivars: Mao Shan Wang, Black Thorn, and Golden Phoenix, for $99. Their air-conditioned dine-in space fits up to 30 customers, if you’d like to escape the crushing humidity.

Price: $18-25/kg (grade A); $12/kg (grade B) Mao Shan Wang durians
We’re a little sceptical of the vague, wide-ranging pricing of the grade A Mao Shan Wang durians here. However, Top Durian Station offers convenience with multiple outlets across Singapore including Bukit Batok, Yishun and Bedok.

Located under a marquee at Punggol Plaza, Durian Empire offers home delivery or dine-in options. Note that CDC/SG60 vouchers are only accepted for dine-in.

Fresh Durian claims to have the “best Mao Shan Wang in Singapore” on their website, boasting “small seeds, more meat”, hence justifying its steeper pricing.
