Not long ago, videos of the viral Korean 10 won cheese coin pancake and Japanese 10 yen pancake were everywhere on social media. These popular coin-shaped snacks are sold as street food overseas, usually stuffed with stretchy mozzarella cheese. Now, Singapore has its very own version, in the shape of our 10-cent coin. The only downside? This edible coin will cost you $5 apiece.

The localised coin pancakes can be found at the rather ironically named 10 Cent Pancake, a cute takeaway kiosk at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. It appears to be Singapore's first standalone shop specialising exclusively in this treat.
