If you’ve been living under a rock, you may have missed the fact that American start-up Impossible Foods recently launched its plant-based “meat” products throughout Singapore last month. Since then, restaurants like Potato Head Singapore, Prive Orchard and Cut have all premiered their own version of Impossible Burgers to rave reviews. Just about everyone who’s tried these faux beef patties are floored by how it is almost, ahem, impossible to tell that they are not the real thing. They certainly look the part, with the right texture and chew, and even the robust flavour of lean beef.
