SunnyHills’ New Mao Shan Wang Cake & Rolls: Nice Or Not?
In case you get tired of pineapple tarts.
Taiwanese pastry shop SunnyHills is known for its pineapple tarts, but now it’s branching out into products made with another fruit — durians. The brand recently reopened its store at the revamped Raffles Hotel, and introduced a new line of desserts called Forbidden (on the MRT, perhaps?) made with the king of fruits.
The Forbidden range — which comprises D24 Durian Rolls and a Mao Shan Wang Durian Roulade cake — is made with durians from Pahang, Malaysia. It’s also the first time that SunnyHills is rolling out non-pineapple products.
