Here is some good news in the time of Covid-19: popular family-run kopitiam eatery Song Kee Fishball Noodle is finally opening the doors to its new home at Yio Chu Kang Road tomorrow (May 18). This comes after renovation for the space was delayed due to the circuit breaker. The shop was originally slated to open in April.

This is the second time it has shifted in recent years; in 2017, it moved to the Joo Chiat neighbourhood from its original Serangoon stall (which has since been taken over by the unaffiliated Finest Songkee’s Fishball Noodles, run by a cousin of Song Kee’s owners).
