This Thai café specialises in Instagram-worthy ‘rainbow’ drinks. Each customisable bottle contains up to three flavours in different hues, like the An Chan Passionfruit ($3.80, see main pic), a blue, purple and pink concoction made by mixing butterfly pea flowers (which creates the blue shade) and passionfruit extract. Meanwhile the Mangoon ($3.80, see main pic) is a vivid blue and yellow mixture of mango concentrate and ‘Blue Lagoon’ (a dried orange extract) which you shake to create a greenish drink. Interesting. Other than the drinks, the shop also sells Thai street bites like BBQ Squid with Thai BBQ Sauce ($12) and Deep Fried Sea Bass with Green Mango Salad ($23) whipped up by a Thai chef. There are also the usual suspects such as Tom Yum Soup (from $6). Talad means ‘market’ in Thai and the shop is named as such because the food and drinks served here are commonly found in Bangkok’s night markets.
