The bosses here were so inspired by the yummy barbecued meat they had on their holiday in Chalong, Phuket, that they opened this (mostly) takeaway grilled meat bowl joint in the new Tanjong Pagar Centre. Only three mains are on the menu, each featuring premium meat grilled in a Josper charcoal oven and served with Grade A Yamagata Haenuki rice from Japan. Check out the sous vide and grilled Spanish Iberico Pork Cheek bowl ($12), as well as the New Zealand free-range grain-fed Black Angus Striploin ($14) with yogurt and red wine sauce. Or go for a Thai Basil Grilled Chicken Leg ($9). Fun fact: the chef-owner here has trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
